Williamsport Bicycle Recycle is a community bike shop that offers hands-on classes & workshops, volunteer projects, community bike rides, and refurbished bicycles for sale at an affordable cost.
We aim to empower people through bicycling, and we believe bicycles can make our community a better place to live. The freedom of going places under your own power, improving your health by getting outside and exercising, and building your confidence by knowing how to fix your own bike when something goes wrong can be transforming. Bring in your bike and learn to repair it with the help of our mechanics, or let us service it for you. If you don’t have a bike, you can rebuild one of our donated bikes.
We accept donations of repairable bikes, bike parts, and bike repair tools, and we can always use volunteers – people who know bikes or would like to learn, people to help organize the shop, and folks with skills in marketing and the social media. Stop by anytime we are open if you are curious or have any questions, need service, want to volunteer, or want to check out what parts and bikes we have available!
