Woodshop

Director | John Meyer

The Williamsport Community Woodshop provides access to a fully-equipped facility for the development of woodworking skills through memberships and fee-based classes in all levels of woodworking. Classes are offered on a flexible schedule to help meet the needs of people with family and job related responsibilities. With very few exceptions, individuals may select classes that meet their needs, without enrolling in a set curriculum. Through direct association and working with other members, adults will increase their understanding of wood and woodworking skills.

The Williamsport Community Woodshop’s memberships allow individuals to use the woodworking equipment and space we provide during our open shop times. We offer annual, monthly, or month-to-month memberships. Woodshop gift certificates can also be used for payment toward any membership. We also offer storage space rentals where personal tools and supplies may be kept, and as such make the shop feel like your own.

Our main entrance and parking area is located on the corner of Rose Street & Memorial Avenue at the Pajama Factory. Feel free to stop by during our open shop hours to tour our facility, and sign up for a membership or class.
