Skill Level: Novice Directions: Arrive at the Pajama Factory smokestack parking lot at 602 Cemetery Street Enter through the doors at the far right side of the building (if you’re facing it) Take the elevator to the 2nd floor. When exiting the elevator, turn right Walk straight ahead until you arrive at the photo lab, room 9-206. Students must bring an exposed roll of 35mm black-and-white film or a disposable 35mm black-and-white film camera with exposed film.

Hands-on Skill Development Workshop

Step into the timeless art of black-and-white photography! Join us from 1-3 pm on Sunday, January 11, at the Factory Works Photo Lab for a skill-building workshop where you’ll learn to develop your very own roll of 35mm black-and-white film. This hands-on experience is perfect for beginners or anyone curious about the magic of traditional film photography. Spots are limited, so reserve your place today! Please bring an exposed roll of 35mm black-and-white film or a disposable 35mm black-and-white film camera with exposed film. The workshop begins promptly at 1 PM, so we recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle in.

What Happens Next?

Your developed film will be ready for pickup at Buzzsaw Coffee on Monday, January 19. Or, you can collect it during our Create Your Own Darkroom Print Workshop on January 25. Digital scans of your film will be emailed to the address you provided during registration.
