Craft Your Own Custom Box: Mastering Dovetail Joinery

Unleash your creativity and woodworking skills in this hands-on workshop, on 3 consecutive Tuesday evenings beginning February 11, where you’ll craft a beautifully finished box using half-blind dovetail joints on all four corners.

Starting with rough-cut lumber, you’ll learn to handle essential tools like the compound miter saw, jointer, planer, drum sander, and table saw safely and effectively. Under the expert guidance of John Meyer, you’ll also gain confidence using a dovetail jig, edge sander, router, and more, making each step accessible and enjoyable.

By the end, not only will you take home a custom-made box, but you’ll also have the foundational skills to create dovetail drawers for furniture projects! Whether you’re new to woodworking or looking to refine your skills, this class will open up new possibilities in your craft.
