Directions to the Clay Studio inside the Pajama Factory:
Please arrive at the Pajama Factory smokestack parking lot at 602 Cemetery Street.
Enter through the doors at the far right side of the building (as you’re facing it), and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
Once you exit the elevator, it’s a straightforward path. Just turn right, and continue down the hallway without making any sharp turns.
Keep going straight until you reach a sizeable green freight elevator door. Go around it, either to the right or left and continue straight until you reach the end of the building.
The Clay Studio is the last door on the right, room 10-226.

Hands-on with Clay: A Beginner’s Guide to Handbuilding and Glazing
Choose your focus for each session
–Pinch Pot Construction & Textures
–Slab Construction
–Coil Construction
By the end of the session, you’ll have 1-2 or more unique pieces that could include vases, mugs, bowls, characters, planters, or trinket dishes. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on experience will inspire your inner artist.
In approximately 2-3 weeks after this session, your creations will have completed a bisque firing in the kiln and be ready for glazing. You will be invited back on a subsequent Sunday to glaze your pieces.
How It Works
–Register for each session separately. (You can take them in any order.)
–Let us know which technique you want to explore in the comments when signing up.
–Create 1-2 handmade pieces per session—bowls, mugs, platters, or anything you dream up!
Your creations will be bisque-fired, and when ready, you can return for the glazing session. You’ll have access to various underglazes, brush-on glazes, and dipping glazes to bring them to life.
Bring your best ideas and join us. You will bring your imagination to life with clay!
